I am an artist working within the field of the applied arts focusing on 3D media, using kiln formed glass and ceramics as sculptural forms.
We exist within an environment which is both fragile and ever changing; my work is centred around this delicate balance of nature and has become a source of inspiration which supports my work. I am interested in exploring the dynamics of multiples and repetitive organic forms which occur within that natural world.
An intrinsic element of my work is the exploration of material and techniques, looking at layers, inclusions, texture and the interplay of light, shadow and form.
