My current work has a strong relationship with pop art; it's bright, colourful and fun.

Using wallpaper I construct detailed collages of current icons within our modern-day society. I enjoy transforming something like wallpaper, which has been through a design process and created for a practical functional purpose (to line the walls of someone's home) into a piece of artwork, by various methods of experimentation where people can identify with the subject, but yet have a childlike curiosity over how it is made.

This creates a tactile narrative, playing with concepts of low and high art. It explores how art is continuously being adapted for a mass-produced consumer lead society.
